Registration of a company in Bosnia and Herzegovina PDF Print E-mail
In September 2004, a Law on registration of business entities entered into force for the whole area of Bosnia and Herzegovina
, which foresees a major simplification of company registration procedure. In accordance with the new law, registration procedure will be regulated by local competent municipal courts.

With respect to organizational form, legislation about companies of both entities in Bosnia and Herzegovina differentiates between the following companies:
• unlimited liability company,
• limited partnership,
• joint stock company,
• limited liability company.

The most common form, also suitable for Slovenian investors, is a limited liability company, while for larger companies a joint stock company is also appropriate
